Each child in the class created at least one piece of art. The older children had several pieces of their work in the auction and were eager to point them out to anyone who would walk by.  Ms. Niamh got the youngest children involved: stringing beads into colorful friendship necklaces and creating sponge paintings.

Much of the art focused on work the children regularly do in class such as sewings, identification (part of a frog, parts of a bird, parts of a plant), math work and creative short stories below a drawing.

Ms. Niamh presented this work in such a beautiful way that it felt like a true art gallery opening!

Sometimes it was the titles the children had given their art that made the work even more endearing such as Skye's "Square People," Aleksandra's " Teenagers," or Emery's "Green Dog."
